About the event
Join us for a hands-on, heart-centered workshop where you’ll learn how to create your very own hand drum—an instrument deeply rooted in ancient tradition, ceremony, and personal connection.
In this in-person gathering, we’ll guide you step by step through the sacred process of crafting a traditional rawhide frame drum. You'll learn how to stretch and lace the hide, connect with the spirit of your drum, and infuse it with your personal intention and energy. Whether you're new to drum-making or have experience with sacred tools, this workshop welcomes all skill levels.
We’ll also take time to reflect and honor the spiritual and cultural significance of the drum in various traditions. This is more than a craft. It’s a ceremony and a creative journey. "You’ll leave not only with a beautiful handmade drum, but with a deeper understanding of its sacred power and connection to the Earth."
