Each handmade spiritual tool is unique and deserves thoughtful care to preserve its materials, craftsmanship, and intended purpose. Please follow these general guidelines to help maintain the quality and longevity of your pieces.
- Rawhide is sensitive to moisture and humidity. Avoid exposing your drums and rattles to water, rain, or excessive humidity.
- Keep your tools away from direct sunlight, heaters, fireplaces, and other sources of intense heat, which can cause rawhide to dry out, crack, or become damaged.
- Keep your tools in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid storing them in damp areas or airtight containers where moisture may become trapped.
- Avoid dropping, striking, or placing excessive pressure on your tools. Handle them gently to protect the rawhide and other natural materials.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid soaking, chemical cleaners, oils, or conditioning products unless specifically recommended for the materials used in your piece.
- Store your tools in a clean, dry, and safe space when not in use.
Because these tools are handmade using natural materials, slight variations in color, texture, shape, and appearance are normal. Natural materials may also respond to changes in temperature and humidity over time.
With proper care and mindful handling, you can help preserve the beauty, integrity, and longevity of your handmade tools.
Thank you for supporting handmade craftsmanship and treating these pieces with care and respect
